Project - The Legends on Tanzman Lake – A Gated Waterfront Community
Location – Parksville, New York

Objective: Create and maintain the natural surroundings of Tanzman Lake for The Legends, a private vacation home community.  Provide each home owner an opportunity to build green – eliminating fossil fuel bills and offer energy saving solutions.

Story:
Richard (Kip) Kuplen, an experienced developer and builder in New York State purchased and sub-developed “The Legends on Tanzman Lake”.  He divided the 250 acre parcel into 5 + acre pristine lakefront home sites and larger streamside lots, each with its own unique character and beauty.  There are 36 magnificent lots circling the Lake and 14 lakefront.

Kuplen says,  “. . . Tanzman Lake is a large, quiet non-motorboat lake.  The Lake is stream-fed and well-stocked with huge bass,” and adds proudly“. . .  and this is ‘no fish story’.

Kuplen goes on to say “I want to preserve this site for many generations to come and one way to make that a reality is to respect the environment by using renewable energy wherever possible.
